I’m a master’s student at Columbia Journalism School in New York, where I’m pursuing the degree with a specialization in data journalism. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2014 with a bachelor’s in economics.
I have a background in business and financial journalism, as well as socioeconomic research. At Columbia, I’m dedicating myself to learning video skills, programming and data analysis.
Previously, I was an editorial assistant at GuruFocus.com, a value investing research website, where I covered the stock trades of investors such as Warren Buffett and Carl Icahn. Before that, I interned at the Institute for Urban Policy Research, where I worked on a study about quality of life in Dallas, interviewing about 75 Dallas residents about their thoughts on schools, safety and city services.
